Day 2: Munising - Copper Harbor - Hancock (265 miles)
Day 3: Hancock - Shawano (295 miles)
Day 4: Shawano - Chicago (260 miles)
Hiawatha National Forest.
Lake Superior.
Great Sand Bay, somewhere between Eagle River and Eagle Harbor.
I was finally able to test the speed limit of my scooter on this trip. 109 mph.
Hancock, MI.
Parking meters are installed close to the buildings, not the curb. A local confirmed our guess that it has something to do with snow removal.

I’m half-way through, and I’m still smiling. This French toast is out of this world.
Howard didn’t complain about his pancakes either.
Flamingo’s restaurant in Shawano serves the best fruit salad I’ve ever tasted.
